Short Description: Macclenny is located 30 minutes west of Jacksonville. Originally called Darbyville, the town was renamed in 1885 for its founder, H.C. Macclenny, who owned large tracts of land in the vicinity.

Four corner tower-like wings join the main square base to give the building its unique appearance. The eaves are made of patterned, galvanized sheet metal, and an enormous clock faces the street.
