| | Q. | hi i want to know if inverness highlands ,, the lots there if they are a good bet to buy in,,for investment...thank you and if not which you recommend | | A. | In our opinion property in Citrus County is still a good investment. As is always the rule with investments, look for property you would like to own. If we have a downturn in the economy you may own it for a while. As in most areas of Florida, Citrus County has appreciated quite a bit in the last few years, but it was very inexpensive before and there is a lot of beauty packed in the County. If you can afford the purchase with disposable revenue and would like to own the property you are looking at .... we do believe there are a lot of good buys: especially waterfront, along golf courses or in and nearby the established communities. The unincorporated Inverness Highlands South is no exception.
| | Q. | could you tell me how close is hurrican dennis to inverness florida | | A. | Foutunately, Hurricane Dennis never got any closer than within several hundred miles of Inverness. The danger to Citrus County as with most of Florida was from tornados spawned from the hurricane system. There was a tornado sighting locally but no damage reported.....just several inches of rain and limited power outages. On Pensacola Beach where Dennis landed in Escambia County the Damage Assessment appears to be much lighter than expected with no significant damage or injury reported.
