| | Q. | i'm doing a project in class where i have to find a community problem in my area. for example if there is a problem with children having a place to go play istead of playing in the street. i would like to know about the problems in the ensley area?it would be greatly appreicated if i could get a respose as soon as possible.
Thank you wanda | | A. | We had another similar request and without us living or interviewing people in that area - we just have to guess based on the general demographics. The unincorporated area of Ensley is not without open space for children to play and the climate for these children is wonderful yearround!
The Ensley community is a solid middle class community with increasing property valuations and a growing number of families. The quality of education is the most probable community problem. ie: student/teacher ratio (currently 18/1), expenditures per student, percentage of children attending, student/librarian ratio, student/guidance counselor ratio, and the absorption rate of the growing influx of school age children into this school district of 88 schools.
