| Q. | We are in search of the specific name of an area on Highway A1A. We were traveling somewhere beyond Marineland but not as far up as Jacksonville Beach where we came over a Causeway that was up high and when we crossed down the other side looked what appeared to be a low lying water recreational area where people were swimming, fishing, boating etc. on both sides of the Highway A1A. Could you please tell me where this might be. We could not find its name when going thru this area and want to revisit it. Thank you | | A. | Between Marineland and Jacksonville Beach is Crescent Beach, Saint Augustine Beach, St Augustine, Vilano Beach, Usinas Beach, Ponte Vedra and Sawgrass. From your description it looks as if you are describing Vilano Beach just on the east side of St Augustine. But then again it could be the Crescent Beach County Park....which is a wonderful beach stopover north of Marineland.
