Community Description
Short Description: Panacea is 30 miles south of Tallahassee on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. Panacea is well known for the Gulf Specimen Marine Laboratory that operates a 30,000-gallon aquarium. School children from all over the country come to this special Laboratory for a touch and feel of marine life in the gulf.
Panacea holds an annual Blue Crab festival each May in Wooley Park.
